| 188938 | 2003-11-05 18:11:00 | win98 dont like more than 512 megs of ram...........start the puter......in safe mode if nesc........then hit startbutton/run .......and type in 'msconfig'......that'll bring up the configuration utility .......umm.....think it's on the 'advanced' or 'troubleshooting' tab that you will find a box says 'limit system memory to.........'.....and a box to type in how much .......limit it to 512............or .....as someone else said ........remove 256mb physically | drcspy (146) | ||
| 188939 | 2003-11-05 20:13:00 | lol someones a bit slow this morning. the problems already fixed and there is no need to limit memory. win98 will easly use over a gig of ram (tho i must amit its not as good as 2k/xp for handling huge ram sizes) :^O :^O:^O ]:)]:)]:) ;-) |
