| 189509 | 2003-11-05 23:36:00 | I have have a problem getting my web cam to work with MSN Messenger 6.1 despite it working with Windows Messenger. The problem seems to be that despite me specifiying the web cam throught the audio tuning wizard in Messenger 6.1 the program still uses the video capture/tv card in my computer and thus the image shown is from the Tv card. I have redone the audio tuning a number of time but still have the same problem. I note that if I disable the TV card under hardware manager the web cam works fine, so there seems to be some bug in the program, because despite sepcifiying the web cam the image from the capture/tv card is displayed. Does anyone know of a solution to this (other than disabling the video capture/TV card), does anyone know if this is an issue other people have had? Thanks... Nimrod |
