| 189329 | 2003-11-05 04:24:00 | Hi, my video card is a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX420 64meg with av-out and s-out how do i get the av-out to work? plugged it into the tv, switched it over to av and configed all the setting on the nvew panel but it doesnt recognise that there is a tv. know how to work it? |

| 189330 | 2003-11-05 04:44:00 | Make sure you have the right adapters and cords plugged in. if u don't see "Detect displays" in the control panel for you video card then the conncetion is not set up properly. U can only use one of the outputs at a time, that is either you use s-video or composite u cannot use both cos u needa tell the card which one to use. Also make sure you have the latest drivers installed. Could u also give us better info as to how they are connected right now and any other relative info.... driver version etc kind of cables ur using. |

| 189331 | 2003-11-05 04:51:00 | If you haven't already, try rebooting it (preferably using the reset button) with the TV still plugged in. On my radeon at least it shuts off everything that isn't connected when you boot up. Also check the NTSC/PAL setting. NZ uses PAL, while the default is often the american NTSC. It is possible your TV won't display NTSC at all. |
