189457 2003-11-06 04:27:00 If you just want to adjust the resolution, enter in a terminal window redhat-config-xfree86 and hit enter, then your root password. You can change screen resolution plus monitor settings with the GUI Display setting dialog box. Then restart X. It will automatically make a backup of the config file in case things turn pear-shaped. 189459 2003-11-06 04:40:00 If you are starting in the GUI, just enter Ctrl/Alt/Backspace. That will kill it. Or Ctrl/Alt/F2 will give you a "login:" in the commandline mode. Graham L (2)
