How can I peminently change my default page in IE6? All of a sudden my default web page keeps returning to : http://www.idgsearch.com.
I have repeatedly changed it back in internet options/General/home page and searched the registry & changed all references, but it keeps changing back. I have even run ' Spybot - search & destroy' but it has not found any problems either. Running XP Home |

You might want to try ad-aware & see if that helps. |

Just a note to avoid confusion: whoever this "IDG Ltd" (an Australian outfit, it seems according to whois) is that runs that web site, it is NOT us, IDG Communications Ltd nor our Australian counterparts, IDG Communications Pty Ltd. |

Great! Thanx very much. Ad-aware found 6 items not found by Spybot. Just prooves not to put all your trust into one product. Although Spybot has helped me out heaps in the past, I will now be keeping both products - just in case. Thanks again. |
