189381 2003-11-05 08:37:00 The fame of our beloved Beetle has spread to the world.
Specifically, to the Polish town of Szczebreszyn which plans to erect a giant sandstone statue of - a Beetle.
Plans are afoot to create a special Beetle Day festival.
When asked why, by an intrepid PF1 investigator, a town spokesman explained
"W Szczebrzeszynie chzaszcz brmi w trzcinie"

Makes you think.....

But maybe the other Beetle is having a fling with our Beetle. I wonder if it was the Ringo Beatle?
