| 189951 | 2003-11-07 18:20:00 | I am being pestered every time i visit PGATOUR.com by an ad in the bottom left corner that grows in size whenever a mouse pointer moves over it. That is every time I move to the scroll bar. Anyone know how to kill this one, |

| 189952 | 2003-11-07 19:35:00 | Hi Jack, I see what you mean, but I had to fire up Internet Explorer before I saw it because it does not do it in Firebird. Maybe you could change your browser? :-) Failing that, the effect does not happen when Active X is refused so you could try changing your IE settings to prompt before running Active X controls and plug-ins and then you can refuse the ones you don't want and be able to surf without these annoying things. ;-) |

| 189953 | 2003-11-07 21:03:00 | JJJJJ It might be because you have Macromedia Flash installed because when I went to the page in IE I was asked if I wanted to install MF (and I did not). The page then indicated one item left remaining to open - perhaps your ad. I then looked at the page in Netscape 7.1 and it loaded normally - no sign of an ad in the bottom left corner. Oxie (Lyn) |
