I will be registering with Orcon for my domain. My needs for the domain are as follows: * At least 5 different name@mydomain.com emails all directed to the same inbox * A domain which I will forward to my Orcon FreeHost site. Then I would like/want: * More like 5 different name@mydomain.com if possible * The email addresses to direct to more than one inbox * Subdomain.. as many as possible * Subdomain directed to different places... e.g subdomain1 -> Geocities subdomain 2 -> Orcon Freehost subdomain 3 -> tripod website, etc. So Orcon will be hosting my website... so I will have FTP access anyway. Therefore, I'm paying $36 a year for the names. Please tell me which of my wishes above is possible and which are impossible, as I have not been able to find much on Orcon's website. Plus, Orcon, is within reasonable distance should things go wrong . Plus, I dont even know how to pay for all this! I don't have internet banking, nor check, nor credit card . . . I wish! However, my problem still remains.... what services do you offer with it? So, what do you guys think I should expect to have when I email and ask these guys. Do the following questions should ok and make sense? In the Domain Name Registration, will you provide, free of charge... 1) URL forwarding, as my website is hosted elsewhere 2) POP3 Emails, if so how many? If not, will be provide email in the form of user@domain.co.nz that can be forwarded to my private inbox. And how many? If more than one, can I forward to different inboxes, i.e. more than one. 3) Is subdomains available? Or is this dependable on my host? Please inform me if I need to add any more questions, or if you can already answer them for me. Many thanks guys, |

Therefore, I can only use the traditional method of going down to the bank, and doing a transfer .. bugger! Cheers anyway, I'm still waiting on MaxNet's reply... |
