2003-11-09 02:09:00 | Have a new Dell computer: all MS SBE help info is in very faint and blurred text (as is the list above here i.e. "operating Systems, General Discussion, etc.) Microsoft say I am the only person who has said this is a problem.....! I do hope someone can help me! All other fonts/views are excellent. | SueO (4847) | |
2003-11-09 02:12:00 | try increaseing the text size in internet explorer. not sure what you mean by SBE but if its a MS help file it may fix it. | tweak'e (174) | |
2003-11-09 02:19:00 | That is, in the top toolbar, clcick on View then Text Size. Choose Medium (or above). | Graham L (2) | |
2003-11-09 02:34:00 | MS SBE = MS Office, Small Business Edition according to my crystal ball. And I confirm that the help file font is set from Internet Explorer, you may need to close and open the programs to effect the change

2003-11-09 04:28:00 | What screen resolution are you running? If you are running, say, 1024x768 on a 15" monitor, the text would be very small (although a new pc would most likely have a 17" crt or maybe you have a 15" lcd screen). | Dolby Digital (160) | |
2003-11-10 01:59:00 | Try this Sue: Right click on your desktop and chose properties > effects from the pop up menu. If the box for "smooth edges of screen fonts" is ticked, untick and that might fix it. If I have that box ticked, anything smaller than 8-point fonts goes fuzzy on my 17" Philips screen. It doesn't make any difference to icon texts either, just text from within programs. No, I don't know why either. :( Cheers Billy 8-{)
