190101 2003-11-08 07:05:00 Hello Everyone...:)

I have a number of pictures that I need to publish to my webpage, and preferably into thumbnail format. (eg. Small pic, click on the small pic takes you to the larger picture...)

Does anyone know of a SIMPLE and EASY programme that can do this for me? All Ive found is programmes that make them into thumbnails, but cant have it all ready for publishing onto the web.

Thanks!!

I might be wrong here, but I do not think they is a easy way of doing this :(

I think you will have to resize each one twice (once as a thumbnail twice a big image)

Then add them to the page.

Tip: if this is the only way e.g. you do not get any more suggestion,

Then make sure you do not hit the save button as you do the images (so you can keep the original image, so you can use it at another time :), and the other reason why I say this is because it is a pain to work with resized jpg, especially when the image quality has dropped)

Hope this helps :)

190103 2003-11-08 08:00:00 will do it. It creates the thumbnails and the required HTML. It is accessed by running the thumbnail viewer, and selecting "File -> Save thumbs as HTML".

The page looks like [url=http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/bamason/images/screenshots/index.html]this (]Irfanview[/url). Although it can be edited after.

A thumbnail is a compressed version of the full sized image. It is normally only a few KB's in size. The image cannot be uncompressed without serious image quality loss. You will need to find the original image.
