| 190177 | 2003-11-08 21:01:00 | I have Win XP home on Pent 2.Trying reinstall original modem DSE XH1154 internal that worked ok. Then used Connexant, but it seemed to hiss and freeze the sys. Trying reinstall DSE and it dials ok, but doesn't recognise id and password. Troubleshooter advised to check ports. Modem is connected to port COM3, but it is not seen on port list. Only COM1, 2and printer port. Any ideas? Thanks. Taly. |
