| 190003 | 2003-11-07 23:11:00 | I've got an XP machine with OE and all the latest updates, ... etc. The problem is, I can't receive any attachments; error says that "OE removed access to the following attachment in your mail: filename..." There is no firewall installed in this machine. How do I deactivate this feature? Cheers |

| 190004 | 2003-11-07 23:19:00 | Have a look at FAQ #17 Cannot open email attachments in Outlook Express (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) | stu140103 (137) | ||

| 190006 | 2003-11-09 00:03:00 | Thanks, stu140103. Unchecked "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" in OE and everything's fine now. :) But, strangely, another machine with similar configuration with the above feature ticked could download attachments without any problem! ?:| Any explanation? Cheers |

| 190007 | 2003-11-09 01:58:00 | depends on what the attachments are....OE will normally block .exe .doc vbs and a few others. also it depends on what ver of OE and OE patches you have as the file list is a bit different. | tweak'e (174) | ||
