| 1349816 | 2013-07-25 07:37:00 | Hi, I am building a new PC, mostly for gaming and normal emails/web surfing etc. I chose the GTX 660 ti but after reading some comparisons, I change to the 7850. Which is the best model/brand to get? It's fairly urgent. Thanks |

Of course if you had another $150 to spend you could get www.computerlounge.co.nz which would be better, but that's a big price hike also. And then at the mid point www.computerlounge.co.nz which is pretty close to the 760 and still $110 cheaper. Myself I prefer Nvidia for the consistency in game performance I've experienced, but with that big of a price difference I'd be tempted to go AMD also and they are great cards. |

My motherboard is crossfire compatible only and Nvidia is quite a bit more expensive. |

Sapphire don't have the reputation for reliability of the others, they are cheaper for a reason. That said my current card is a sapphire I got for the price and it's been great so far, it's a gamble. I prefer Asus also, but Gigabyte is a very good brand and cheaper - which is why I recommended them. The question was best brand, it may be Asus, it may be Gigabyte, it's not Sapphire. |
