Hey hope my reply helps , and this looks to be a trojan virus . Have you tried scanning it with malwarebytes and etc . I think you should try and see the results . Yes since trojan are known to be harmful , could also be a false postive . But yeah i would say scan with malwarebytes . If ccleaner is installed, run it, then go to the tools / startup tab. Click save as txt file. Copy and paste whatever here. We'll see whats in startup Do the same for programs that are installed. Under tools / uninstall. |

Ran Norton Security Scan and it found 2 instances of a file in apps called PCPWL54.ENX which it didn't recognise and then wanted to sell me Norton Security Suite so I could remove them. Though like you said you did scan with norton , which did show threats ,so just to be 100% percent sure . I would recommend do a full scan with malware bytes and please answer these questions . Are u getting errors , slow pc /Internet , pop ups ,etc . Sometimes antivirus are not able to detect actual threats . That's in my thinking so my opinion. Thanks . | AppleFan (17097) | ||
