1327342 2013-02-10 07:17:00 Hi all you clever PF1ers

I was at a coffee shop in Temuka today and spyed this item up on a high shelf.
None of the staff knew what it was and I asked several older men in the shop what it was and no-one had a clue.
Is anyone out there if PF1 land able to cast some light on this object.

Cheers

Yep, definitely some type of press and I have been having a thinking that as this cafe is attached to the Temuka Pottery shop,
that maybe it has something to do with insulators/pottery that used to be made at Temuka Insulators back in the day.
More research is required, as my interest has been piqued.

1327350 2013-02-10 10:06:00 I can't be sure but I think it may be a butter press used by dairies way back when who churned their own butter from their own cows milk production before the days of bulk collections and dairy factories. Blue Druid (4480)
