2013-02-09 23:15:00 | I see some bloke has been fined for his kids actions, of course he didn't take action after the 1st, 2nd and 3rd notices, but I still think the law is problematic. This quote from stuff peeved me though for downloading bitTorrent, a programme which allows computer users to illegal download and upload music files BT can be used for more than just illegal music distribution, it's like saying "his kids used a car, a machine for transporting drunk drivers to run over 13 people" Daft. Still, I don't think this law is appropriate, or working properly to be honest... then again, another "Ke$ha" song - they probably deserved a fine :D www.stuff.co.nz

2013-02-10 00:20:00 | That's definitely a bonus gary. I'll say that for sure. The US just charges the living hell out of people, the sad thing is the label gets all the money. Not the artists :( | The Error Guy (14052) | |
2013-02-10 01:31:00 | Why did this guy get name supression? Must be a "celebrity" (cough). | Iantech (16386) | |
2013-02-10 06:06:00 | Just wait until Key and co buckle under the threat of a US FTA and reduce the ISP fee down to $1 then it will be the scatter gun approach hoping a few will stick. | paulw (1826) | |
2013-02-10 07:40:00 | Meh, doesn't bother me. I don't pirate much any more. The music is so crap there's not much to buy, the movies aren't even worth downloading and I can afford office now, especially as I'm using it for a "purpose" as opposed to just mucking with it in school. Photoshop is the only one I can't afford, but I get it for free through the school/university... except I got a more updated version though the kind chaps on the Internet ;) As soon as I start earning money off it I'll pay for it though, it's worth it. Fantastic tool. I guess this new law will stop a new generation of pirates.... but the tech savvy ones will go under the radar as usual. If anything It's going to produce an army of smart pirates who don't do dumb things, release crap or muck the rest of the world around.
