I seriously doubt it but MS charge that much for the full corporate version - why because companies can afford to pay it. It's no secret the profits from Windows and Office are the largest part of MS's business. Microsoft is aware of this and they have demonstrated no interest in trying to reverse this trend. The strategy instead seems to be pragmatic: suck every last possible dollar out of the market before they finally give up. Bad for end users and certainly something that makes many of us quite angry ;) |
