| 1350168 | 2013-07-29 21:53:00 | Some earlier firmware revisions for the WAG120N did indeed miss a decimal from noise margin, though I thought they also missed it from attenuation, so may not be the case here. | inphinity (7274) | ||
| 1350169 | 2013-07-29 23:19:00 | Those signal to noise figures seem totally bogus, 123 DB ?? I don't think that's even possible, is there a decimal point missing? (every 3 DB = half the power. a 12 DB margin is a signal 16 times stronger than the background noise). Did this happen before or after the firmware update? +1 for talking to your ISP first, if nothing else they can eliminate any obvious line fault I was looking to see if anyone had picked up on the line stats, they are off the wall! |

| 1350175 | 2013-08-10 11:51:00 | Ok. Well it was stable for a day and then went to crap again. Telecom apparently noticed 99 disconnections in the 24 hours they monitored my connection. Had a technician come over, said there was nothing wrong with my line after testing it for 20 mins at the cabined and 10-15 mins at my place. He said my line will be monitored for a further 24 hours. My connection went unstable again an hour after he left. Over the next 7 hours, I lost connection a further 47-odd times. I get a few good hours, and then disconnections every other minute. Sometimes twice minute. :( This has become a nightmare. |
