| 1349826 | 2013-07-27 20:52:00 | They do declare the 7850 the winner - but based on value not performance. And given that we are in a different country with different prices it's not as relevant. I'm sure the 7850 will do a great job and it is a good price, as mentioned previously though the 660Ti has more performance for it's extra price. When I'm comparing I use the monthly "Best graphics cards for the money" article on Toms hardware. I read through it but ignore the pricing and then use the chart to write local prices on and find a winner. Here's this months chart www.tomshardware.com Note the 660Ti is one tier higher than the 7850, Toms say to notice a real difference with an upgrade you need to go 3 tiers. It's not the only benchmark site around, but it's consistent and I've come to rely on it. If I'm struggling to decide between two cards I'll check out some other sites. |

I dont think the smaller chips 78xx, suffer the micro-stutter as badly as the 79xx cips do, their is supposed to be fixed drivers released tomorrow, however havent seen anything in the pipe yet...I doubt they will fix it completely with a software fix..... |
