1326532 2013-02-04 08:43:00 Does anyone know of a program which adds a 'spell check' option to the right click menu. Basically allowing you to select a passage of text anywhere, right click -> spell check, and spell check it using the programs dictionary.

Cheers.

Heck, even IE does this now...

1326535 2013-02-04 09:43:00 I know Chrome and Safari spell check, FFox probably does it and I don't know about IE. Chrome's spell check is a tad more helpful since it uses google search to power it (if you enable it, it's an extra option)

Word spell checks, photoshop even spell checks.... any more do you want checked, your registry :D

1326537 2013-02-04 09:55:00 I did a program a number of years ago with a spell checker and Maureen who was one of the users was a bad speller so I did a sound file with "Get it right Maureen".
She was on the phone one day when up popped the sound file and the person on the other end said " Who's talking to you like that" and Maureen said " Oh it's alright it is just my computer".:D

1326538 2013-02-04 20:49:00 Was actually wanting it for Libre Office, as the spell check there only seems to work if set to English US. Nick G (16709)
1326539 2013-02-04 20:56:00 I like Wordweb as a stand alone programme. HERE (wordweb.info) B.M. (505)

Works perfectly for me.
You did remove the US dictionary so making the NZ one the default.

1326541 2013-02-04 23:17:00 Yep, I did. Managed to get it working a while back, but then reinstalled and now I can't remember how I did it. Nick G (16709)
