In windows 98se.If i download a picture. Are there anything I can addon to windows which lets me view the picture without actually opening a program?Im using a 200mhz processor and to see what the picture looks like.Opera or ie has to open to view the pictures. Are there an alternative? Either than buying a new computer! |

If you are wanting to preview downloaded pictures and find IE or Opera too slow to load beacuse of your 200MHz processor, try downloading the FreeView graphics viewer from Here. (freedownloadscenter.com) It is free, small, and can open most image formats as quickly as you can select them. I use it with a 166MHz processor, 2MB video RAM and 198MB system RAM and it is the only viewer I have found that lets me browse quickly through a whole folder full of image files. Alternatively, if you are wanting to preview before downloading, unless there are thumbnails available you pretty much have to endure the wait. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
