| 190854 | 2003-11-11 04:03:00 | Well, the whole Internet works by transferring files using TCP/IP. :D The standard ways (FTP, SSH) of doing what you want involve having a server running at the source end. This can have major security problems if it's not set up properly. If your files are not too big, it's probably easiest to have the source end send them as enclosures to mail. (I'm assuming that you are thinking of remote computers, not members of a local network, when it's easiesnt to just set up the sharing). |

| 190860 | 2003-11-11 09:59:00 | um.. the ideas are great.. but not really what i was looking for... it's just that i need something fast and easy to setup so i can grab my network cable...connect it into my friend's computer... run some server/client software that can enable filesharing type in the ip addresses and ready to go... anything for dos would be great too.. |
