| 190849 | 2003-11-11 03:48:00 | I have a near 2 year old windows M.E pc and a same age cannon bjc 3000 usb printer recently a porno used our wireless internet connection to acsess porn without permission So we erased our pc the printer refueses to set up using the supplied software and also in the add printer program in the printers folder I know one of you great techies out there Robo and bruce especilaly can solve my probolem. my pc can run other usb devices correctly HELP HELP HELP ME Please ! | 190851 | 2003-11-11 04:06:00 | Patience - get this sorted straight. You have a 2year old machine running WinME and it used to run a USB Canon BJC3000. However, someone used your internet connection to access pornographic content and you formatted your PC so now the printer refuses to set up properly...? 1 - Have you downloaded the latest drivers from the Canon (www.canon.co.nz) website? 2 - Have you tried troubleshooting with Windows Printer Help? 3 - When you say your printer refuses to setup using supplied software - do you get an error message or a message at all? Does installation go smoothly and then your printer isn't there? Does installation even start? Just a pointer - don't put your email address on a public forum as it has the potential to be harvested by Spammers. CyberChuck |
