I'm going to get some legal opinion (well, try to at least) about whether or not connecting to unsecured networks could land you in the slammer. Remember we've got new, vague and largely untried legislation that's supposed to deal with computer crimes. You probably don't want to end up as test cases for it. Last time around, some admins in one of the larger outfits that we went past noticed us in the street and thought we "looked dodgy as hell" and turned off their APs :-). -- Juha |
