Agree - avoid it FOREVER. It's a very good player, but oh-so intrusive. It really needs a lot of fiddling to get it customised so as not to invade your entire system.

Has anyone else noticed how wonderful Winamp is at smoothing out the end of one song and integrating the beginning of the next?

RealPlayer = No go!
Do some Googlin'g on the subject if you're curious, but IMHO its slowed down ALL the PCs Ive used/trialled it on, and that's something I dont want to have to settle for.

You can also play around with WinAmp 2.8 + as it has a better DirectSound plugin that you can play with the buffer etc and make it fade between two songs, fade when you hit stop... etc. etc.

Real cool :D

Chill.

190877 2003-11-12 01:40:00 Another plug for Zoomplayer. I am currently watching and listening to some music videos with it and it is only using 3,500K in resources.

For music I mostly use Foobar and occasionally Winamp.
