| 191417 | 2003-11-12 21:38:00 | I used to be able to double-click on an unknown file-type, get the dialog box 'Open With', choose the application to open it with, check 'Always use this program . . . ' and have it open that Application this time and always after . Something has happened . After the OK click the dialog box momentarily disappears, and reappears with the 'Always open . . . ' unchecked . What has happened? What to do? Terry@nz |

| 191419 | 2003-11-13 07:39:00 | No, I'm with good old Win98. The check-box is not greyed-out. I can check it, in which case nothing happens; or leave it unchecked in which case the Application is opened, but next it does not remember what it did (as you would expect). Terry@nz |
