| 191360 | 2003-11-12 19:43:00 | Is there a program which would allow me to say allow Program1 to use 50% of my internet connection bandwidth (56k modem), Program2 to use 25% and Program3 to use the remaining 25%, when all are trying to access at the same time? Also, is there a way for me to "force" 2 computers on a network to equally share a 56k connection when both are trying to access at the same time? Is something like this even possible (without me having to run a Linux router)? I am running Windows XP home with SP1 |

The best thing is, there is a shareware version available that is fully featured, EXCEPT you can only allocate 16kb/s - any bandwidth above this is choked by the program. As you are on a 56k modem however, I dont see this being a problem. |
