| 191423 | 2003-11-13 00:25:00 | I need a solution for a company that has five PCs on a small LAN with Win2k Server and Active Directory. Client PCs all running WINXP Pro. One client PC has a DVD writer. Would like to be able to run backups of a couple of directories on server on a daily basis. Tried Brightstor ArcServe Backup V 9.01 for Windows and it couldn't see the DVD writer, let alone let me backup remote server. Software supplied with the DVD writer is woefully short of satisfactory (won't backup remote server either, can't save selections, won't run automatically). I don't need anything flash to backup SQL servers or Exchange, it's just vanilla files, damn it all. Any ideas? robo. |
