| 192518 | 2003-11-16 22:13:00 | When I send something to my printer, while it is printing if I carry on working on my PC, my PCs response time slows up drammatically. It's fine again as soon as the printer finishes. I have tried all the "spool print job" tweaks to no avail. I'm running Windows 98SE at 500 Mhz with 320 Meg of RAM. Anybody got any ideas please? The parallel port has always been a weak point ... the interrupt was not implemented properly in 1981. ;-) USB should be better (if your printer can use USB, it would definitely be worth trying). |
