| 192746 | 2003-11-17 10:39:00 | does anyone know if those el cheapo stereo surround speaker sets that everyone sells are any good?? i want something to accompany my dvd player but dont know what to get. i was eyeing the 5.1 supported speakers and had my eyes on the Creative Labs 5200 series speakers does anyone know if theyre actually 5.1 supported or whether they are just marketing hoo ha. Im on a budget of around $200-380 if that helps. |

| 192749 | 2003-11-17 19:23:00 | Presumably your talking about computer speakers and not a stand alone dvd player? Easiest thing to do is go into a computer store and listen to a set and see if they are 2 your liking. |

Being Creative Labs I'd say they are probably 5.1 if they say they are. They'd probably go well with a Creative Labs Sound Blaster 5.1 card in your computer. Mike. |
