If you mirror these programs on your own site, it is extremely urgent that you update the files. Due to a new variant of the CWS Trojan, using either HijackThis or CWShredder on an infected Win98 or WinME computer may lead to severe damage to that computer. You must update to the very newest versions of these programs before using either of them again. |

| 193340 | 2003-11-21 06:19:00 | I might add if I may....uninstall imediately.....I read the warning and went to update...the moment I clicked on Hijack This ,I was done for.What a mess I had to clean up.Have now got updated version.Thanks for the warning Jim....and fire is right in suggesting this should stay at top of list for sometime.... cheers |
