Men are four: He who knows not and knows not he knows not, he is a fool -- shun him; He who knows not and knows he knows not, he is simple -- teach him; He who knows and knows not he knows, he is asleep -- wake him; He who knows and knows he knows, he is wise -- follow him! - Lady Burton (wife of Sir Richard Francis Burton), given as an Arabian proverb |

| 193206 | 2003-11-20 06:09:00 | Avery.com is a good site - from their home page you can download a freebee called designpro, and a template manager also. Worthwhile because although you need to buy Avery Labels (surprise, surprise), it's an industry standard that will also serve other label / card manufacturers. For making business cards, steer clear of any system where you have to individually place each card in a card holder then print them one by one. Opt for the precut cards that press out or peel out. | WalOne (4202) | ||
| 193207 | 2003-11-20 06:11:00 | Forgot to mention - Designpro also covers just about every label Avery make! | WalOne (4202) | ||
| 193208 | 2004-06-24 23:53:00 | Unfortunately the program suggested by Kirrie Kiwi, which I have downloaded , only has rulers in inches, not metric . Likewise I see the pricing for the program suggested by Thomas is in $US so I suspect the same . As my need is very modest I am keen to get a freebie . Word has quite a few demos you can download from the MS site but mostly they are provided by "Avery" for their stationery . I bought "Celcast" which is from an Australian Company . Checking their website I see that they have no software or templates available . Will keep looking or try the one I downloaded . 90 x 52 mms = approx 3 . 54 X 2 . 00 inches . Misty :D |
