you might be able to just delete that file (if its not part of the OS)

Are you sure thats what it said?

Not downloader.toolbar.g ?

Where does AVG say its located?
What Operating System version do you have?

I cnt remember how to turn off system restore sorry.

once you have it turned off your virus checker might be able to remove it, other wise just go and delete the file.

Go to Control Panel > system then click on the performance tab then click

On the file system button on the bottom of the page then click on the troubleshooting tab then tick "disable system restore then reboot your computer then turn it back on the same way, just un tick the same box
