| 193134 | 2003-11-19 08:53:00 | If my pc is left running idle for say 30 min.and I try to access a web site i get a message unable to find website.The only way I can access any website is by shutting down and re booting .I run xp home . | 193137 | 2003-11-19 12:16:00 | Your ISP may have an idle disconnect in place and disconnects your connection. There is an idle disconnect setting in IE which may be set to 30 mins If it only happens when you are not downloading anything then I would suspect one of the above. |

Go to Control panel/network connections Right click your ISP icon and select properties. Click on Options Tab Idle time before hanging up xx mins Are you sure it is not an ISP activated timeout. Most ISP's do have this in place. |

| 193143 | 2003-11-21 21:04:00 | If your modem is still connected then it sounds like a phone line modem issue as a result of poor quality phone lines. Where in NZ are you. You might benefit from slowing your modem with extra settings. |
