Do know what you mean by TIF On your keyboard on the bottom left had side they should be a "ctrl" key then on the top left hand side there should be a "Esc" key then the 5 key along is F5 then press both "ctrl"+F5 at the same time & then it should force a refresh. Hope this helps |

| 193322 | 2003-11-22 21:25:00 | Xtras new spam killer sure works, This morning for the first time there was not one spam email in my in box and 40 captured spams in the deleted items box. Thanks for the good work Xtra. Spam in my inbox used to make me very unhappy, now I am happy happy joy joy. I hate all those holy than thou numbskulls who say they dont get much spam because of their conservative use of the internet. They are inferring that people who do get spam, surf for porn etc and leave their addresses open to harvesting. Get this, my five year old gets mega spam in his hotmail account and hes never used it. tedheath |

A Reason why he is getting Spam: Have a look under options > Your Information > Personal Profile then at the bottom of the page & you should see this >>You can speed registration and get personalized services at >>participating sites by sharing your .NET Passport information with >>them when you sign in. >>Choose how much of your .NET Passport information Microsoft can >>share with other companies' .NET Passport sites at sign-in: >>Share my e-mail address. >>Share my first and last names. >>Share my other registration information. If these three are tick, then that is one of the reason why he is getting Spam & if the Spam in arriving in the "inbox" not the "junk mail" folder then you have not set-up the hotmail Spam filter. I'm sure quite a few of the "holy than thou" people who regularly assist you with your problems here will be pleased to be called "numbskulls". How does the saying go, Don't bite that hand that feeds you? |
