2003-11-20 08:57:00 | Login into your xtra e-mail account via xtramail.co.nz. Open on the bottem left hand side you'll see the Anti Spam Filter link. Select it. You will get 3 options. 1 Mark the subject lines of spam email as [SPAM]-2 Move spam emails to a separate 'Spam' folder or 3 Automatically delete spam emails without reading them. Select one and press the Submit button.....HTH. | mark.p (383) | |
2003-11-20 09:01:00 | GF.. Your last Parais correct. There is nothing in the box labelled. Email Services. The link we are using to get into this is the one on the xtra letter email which arrived today. The antispamgettingstarted link, in blue. PJ

2003-11-20 09:04:00 | Should look like this: sal.neoburn.net Thats a cropped shot of the screen I suspect you have firewalls and security so tight you are not seeing much? Does it look the same on both PCs?

2003-11-20 09:27:00 | GF & mark P. Have turned off the Sygate firewall on XP, leaving the XP firewall up. Still cannot access the FULL page , the one withe the empty Email Services box. Tried it on Maryann's 98 computer & got the lot. Have selected option 2, to put into a spam folder, for now to see how we get on. So It is operating, I think, but curious as to why XP wouldn't do it.. Thanks All PJ | Poppa John (284) | |
2003-11-20 09:29:00 | GF The screen shot is exactly what comes up on the 98. Very similar on the XP, apart from no words in the boxes. PJ | Poppa John (284) | |
2003-11-20 09:42:00 | Next question?? Having selected the "Send to folder" option, where is the folder? PJ | Poppa John (284) | |

2003-11-20 10:06:00 | MP.. Both machines on V6, latest. PJ | Poppa John (284) | |
2003-11-20 10:20:00 | > Next question?? Having selected the "Send to > folder" option, where is the folder? PJ Well, as explained above it will not be on your PC, if thats where you are looking. All this filtering is done on the Xtra server, and I imagine you will need to view that folder using Webmail (Xtramail) The "Post Office" have created a new pigeon hole for your spam, for you to call in and clear it from time to time. You probably need to get some spam before it will be created? Funny about your XP machine not seeing the links, it may be Java related? How come you have all the fun, I never have these problems and am feeling a bit left out....
