193388 2003-11-20 19:22:00 I have forgotten a password to a site, but it is stored in Windows somewhere. (Box that asks you if you want windows to remember the password was selected yes). So now Windows remembers the password, and lets me into the site, but some other pages in the site asks for it again, and being a different page to the first one, the password is not stored for the new page.

Where abouts in Windows XP are all these passwords stored, and being the administrator, can I see them?

Download the free Asterisk Key utility from Lost Password at www.lostpassword.com The utility will search all password edit boxes and open web pages for passwords.

193390 2003-11-23 02:45:00 Thanks for that. I have been in Scotland for a month and just returned home, so I have only just gotten around to reading the article on page 76 on Novembers magazine. Boy did I feel like a dick when I read this exact question in the magazine!

Thanks again for ya help.

Phil
