BryanP - Norton's Internet Security suite is probably exactly what you're after.

Glad you added that as it's well docmented the built-in XP firewall is in need of attention. There are services unabled by default that make use of it's flaws. I second Kerio. A very usefull tool indeed.

Absolute rubbish it does not stop any outgoing traffic.

ROFLMAO. If you read above I was being sarcastic and only joking. Jeez. ROFL. Windows inbuilt firewall is -the- worst firewall software ever. LMAO

193428 2003-11-22 07:14:00 Yep NOD32 has been the best for a while, now they're up to 24 VB100 awards (the most prestigious award all antivirus software writers strive for) and all in the wild viruses detected and none missed - which is where it counts most.

Unfortunately most people are still using inferior products and are basically sheep being led to the slaughter.

193429 2003-11-22 07:21:00 Lets have a look at the results: (www.virusbtn.com)

NOD32: 24 passes / 3 fails
Grisoft AVG: 3 passes / 19 fails
Symantec Norton Antivirus: 22 passes / 6 fails

Plus NOD32 has fastest scanning engine, and uses much less resources than all the others... go figure.
