| 193796 | 2003-11-22 02:24:00 | It should be there ... but whereis might not work. Like [/b]locate[/b] and apropos it needs a database. Oops .. whereis might be like which, and just look in the PATH. Anyway, in a terminal, domakewhatis & updatedb & and these will make the databases. However, what you need is the configuration of kppp, so why not go through the Kontrol centre? The Network rea should get you there. There might be problems with permissions for non-root use (and don't be tempted to go in the Internet while being root ... ;-)). I think we've had this so a search for "KPPP" in the PressF1 search button (top of page) will help. |
