| 193699 | 2003-11-21 19:29:00 | hi again ok i want to limit my bandwidth (mbps) not my quota (e.g. 5gb) Win2k Pro the PCs are on a network and i don't mind limiting the network speed i want it to go at 60kbps, ideally i want connect to the gateway(router) at 60kbps because that way on LAN i can transfer files fast also if possible i set it under Administrator and the user cant see or change it the only reason why i don't use the router to limit it is because i just want 3 PC limited and the router is a bit advanced i had a look and there doesn't seem to be any easy windows option for this so i suppose i'm looking at software (free if possable) |

| 193703 | 2003-11-23 11:40:00 | yea i rebooted it and it didn't work it may work with a dial up or internal ADSL modem but it didn't work with the gate way / router i'll try it on my 56k does anyone else have any idea of any othe software . . . i realy need this |

| 193705 | 2003-11-23 14:27:00 | Mmmm thats the tricky part. You can make it run at startup with a registry key in the normal place....just copy one of the other programs that start at startup. I'd like it if it had a password or something to block users, or make it hidden. Not sure about that one ;) |
