| 193683 | 2003-11-21 11:21:00 | I hate being told by my software what may or may not be included in my context menus. When I right-click to open a new folder in Windows Explorer, all I want is "file" or "Shortcut". But damn "Adobe Photoshop Image" is always there! I've killed it in both TweakUI and manually in the registry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.psd\PersistentHandler HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.psd\ShellEx HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.psd\ShellNew HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.psd\ShellNew- HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.psd But... everytime I reboot or re-open Photoshop, the damn thing re-appears. Any ideas how I can permanently destroy this invasion? If I can't get satisfaction I'm gonna ditch Adobe next upgrade and go Corel! |
