| 194210 | 2003-11-24 00:34:00 | Also in XP you can left click the Start button and then right button drag and drop the Search magnifying glass either onto your desktop or onto the Quicklaunch tool bar. In Win98 (courtesy of Livingston & Straub, More Windows 98 Secrets), 1. In Explorer click Tools, Find,Files or Folder. 2.Make any changes to your Find dialogue box necessary to make this your general find. 3.Click File, Save Search. This saves the Find settings as a shortcut on the Desktop. 4.If you want drag and drop the shortcut to the Quick Launch toolbar |
