194155 2003-11-23 03:24:00 Hi,

after attempting to go to a website that has flash, there is a window (where normally the flash thing would be) saying 'click here to get the plugin'. So I click on that and am redirected to Macromedia website, and there is a "Download" button. The first time i clicked on it an window came up and downloaded alright, and after locating it in the install folder, it came up in some weird language. Certainly not english!

So i went back to the download page, and checked that the language was set at English - it was. So clicked "download" again. Nothing happens...

I've gone back to the same website (to download the plugin) over the last few days and absolutely nothing happening, not even a window pops up to select where to save the plugin.

PS: Using Mozilla Firebird, Win XP Pro.

By this, I mean the installing/set up instruction window.

194158 2003-11-23 04:25:00 Thanks, have managed to download it .

Does it have to be installed in a specific folder? Like the plugins folder of Mozilla?

194160 2003-11-23 05:01:00 Just run the install.exe and follow the prompts IIRC-it's been a while. Just checked my Fb v0.6 with Flash 6 and nothing is in the plug-ins folder but flash sites run ok. mark.p (383)
194161 2003-11-23 06:29:00 Thanks, I installed it in the plugins folder anyway, and it appears to be working.

Thanks for your help
