| 194067 | 2003-11-23 00:05:00 | I have Kazaa lite installed on my Xp pro system, I ran ad-aware to check for spyware and told it to delete the files, forgetting that i was supposed to leave a couple of the cydoor files in system 32 so kaxaa would run properly. Now i can't deleted Kazaa and my complete windows folder is invisible via explorer. The only way to find any windows files is via the search function. I have tried restore and it makes no difference, any suggestion to get the windows folder visible again. Cheers Tinman | tinman (1181) | ||

| 194069 | 2003-11-23 01:50:00 | Try this: In any folder: Click Tools menu, then choose folder options. In the general view click "Use classic windows Folders". Not a necessity and you can change back if you like. In the view tab, make sure you have "show hidden files and folders" selected. Untick "Hide protected Operating System files" and untick "hide extensions for known file types". Apply changes. Now way up the top again, you should see a button saying "Apply to all folders". Click it and your done. |
