| 193894 | 2003-11-22 17:45:00 | When im conncected to the internet.I double click the connection button and click details.It says tcp/ip which is normal and on top of that there's another one called challenge hand shake authentication protocol.Is this some kind of spywarE? Spybot doesn't show its a spyware.What is it? Im running windows 98se |

| 193895 | 2003-11-22 20:06:00 | Of course Spybot doesn't detect it as spyware. Challenge hand-shake authentication is a secure method for connecting to your ISP. I'm not sure of the specific details about how it works, but it's pretty much in the name - one of the computers issues a challenge, the other answers it, and if everything goes fine they "hand-shake" and you're connected. |
