| 193867 | 2003-11-22 09:17:00 | Hi...I have converted an mp3 file to wav with CDex and it seems to be fine played on my computer in Winamp. I want to burn this to a cd-r disk and have it auto start when inserted and also run on stand alone cd players. But when I did this last night the cd player didn't recognise the file and nor did the dvd player. I copied and pasted the wav file from the HD to the burner using Direct CD and finalised the disk, but I think there is more to the job than that. Thanks for any tips...K | paradox (1082) | ||

| 193869 | 2003-11-22 10:24:00 | What you're after is a CD-Extra Burn's the Audio track as the first "part" of the CD, and Data as the "Second" part - To play on your PC. You'll need to create an autorun.ini file that'll load the .wav file and play it in the users default media player. Hope this helps Chill. |
