194318 2003-11-24 06:16:00 Is there anywhere you can pay to download music? Im quite happy to pay for the odd song that I would like, as there seems to be quite a fuss about KaZaa. Often it is something a bit obscure that cant be found at the CD Shop.

Thanks

Not sure if iTunes is available in New Zealand yet though someone living in New Zealand with one of those iPod players did say that she was able to download from iTunes.

I understand that Sony is gearing up for pay music downloads though that could be next year.

Off memory there are a couple of others also doing paid music downloads but who they are and whether they are available to residents outside the US or where ever, I cannot recall.

194322 2003-11-25 19:44:00 It's very important to find "pay music download sites" which are legitmate (licenced by the record companies), otherwise you might end up paying some guy running a dodgy website from the back streets of Eastern Europe, charging you to download songs they got off KaZaa. somebody (208)
