2003-11-25 22:54:00 | I use diskeeper an older version and it is better in my opinion than most defragmentation programs | kiwibeat (304) | |
2003-11-25 23:05:00 | Used the older version before, but didn't notice any difference from the built-in defrag in XP. I don't see the need to purchase this utility software all.

2003-11-26 02:03:00 | I've used a trial of it. It's quite good the way it can auto-defrag when frag level reaches a certain amount. It can also defrag the WHOLE hard disk drive on boot includin the mft(?) | -=JM=- (16) | |
2003-11-26 04:07:00 | its faster and you can surf while it defrags the XP degrag util is a stripped down version | kiwibeat (304) | |
2003-11-26 05:28:00 | Hi,I've used a couple of versions of Diskeeper and currently run version 8.I like the fact that you can carry on surfing etc while it works in the back ground as well as the information that it gives...eg it will tell you the status of your harddrive and if it requires to be defragmented or not...a very good utility IMHO regards ruup

2003-11-26 07:38:00 | XP defrag will work in the background as well and tell you if the drive needs defragging or not. | -=JM=- (16) | |

2003-11-27 08:19:00 | I tried Diskeeper 7 when I installed XP because it was claimed to be faster than other defrag utilities. However Ive found defrag in XP to be painfully slow compared to win98SE no matter which util I use. So I've stayed with Norton SpeedDisk. | Terry Porritt (14) | |
