| 1351406 | 2013-08-17 00:11:00 | Hi, we had a WB Black swapped 3yrs in, it has a 5yr warranty. In the future should I have an issue again will I have a 2yrs more or does the warranty get extended voluntarily? I checked the HD warranty status and it was into the future .... ' Thanks. |

| 1351407 | 2013-08-17 00:17:00 | The warranty will carry on from the first day of purchase, no matter how many times it got claimed. If the Drive was purchased in say 1st January 2010, then the warranty will expire 1st January 2015. So if the drive failed 1st December 2014, the replacement will have a 1 month warranty as long as it claimed under the warranty. |

So as it's 3 years now....you still have 2 remaining. |
