1351098 2013-08-12 21:00:00 Hi,
I've been in this forum before with my problem, and encouragement from learned members was an exhilarating experience! This time again I've come up with an issue that I myself cannot resolve even after exhaustive research on the internet.
The problem is that I successfully create an ISO image file from an autorun DVD/CD and expect this image file to behave like the original DVD/CD on mounting. But it doesn't happen. Why? When I click the virtual drive, it simply opens and shows all files included but doesn't run the executable file by itself like the original DVD/CD drive. Is there any solution of this problem, or should I simply adjust with the limitation of accessing the executable file only through double clicking that myself?
Thank you for your time and attention in advance!

1351099 2013-08-12 21:46:00 Is poweriso registered??? Since, you cant make images bigger than 300 mb, if if its not registered. And is it the latest version?? 5.7? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1351100 2013-08-12 21:58:00 Of course, it's registered! I am not talking about image size but quality of being autorun or not. Don't tell me about autorun.inf file etc! I've checked all that, but it still doesn't run on clicking the virtual drive. mdRASHIDkhi (16580)
1351101 2013-08-12 22:00:00 And, yes, its version is 5.6, if not 5.7! :) mdRASHIDkhi (16580)

1351106 2013-08-13 10:58:00 Do cds and dvd's work tho?? If they dont you could try some of the things here (www.mydigitallife.info) Speedy Gonzales (78)
1351107 2013-08-13 11:19:00 Do other ISO files Auto run, or is it only this ISO ?

Just a theory --- back in 2011 MS disabled autorun in XP for various devices ( this was a attempt to stop viruses in USB drives auto running) , CD/DVD's still run fine, what "may" be happening is XP is seeing the ISO other than a CD, thus cancelling the Auto run. :2cents:
